Prepped at Bayard High School … coached by Brandon Stuart … lettered and started all four years … served as a two-year team captain … named MVP of the Western Trails Conference and selected as all-conference … broke school records for rushing yards in a game, season and career and for most touchdowns in a game, season and career … also broke school defensive records for tackles in a game, sacks in a season and career, tackles for loss in a season and career and fumble recoveries in a season … also competed in wrestling and track for four years … placed third at state wrestling and was named conference MVP … twice placed at state track in the pole vault … named academic all-state and to the Principal’s Honor Roll.
