• A two-time All-American at tight end, Ross Wurdeman has been chosen as an NAIA Hall of Famer. He is the fourth Concordia alum to get the call to the hall, joining Carol Bailey-Moravec, Gene Brooks and Kregg Einspahr.

    Heartache in Storm Lake

    A 24-0 halftime lead turned into a stunning 27-24 loss on Saturday (Sept. 14) night. Host Buena Vista stormed back behind a prolific passing attack as Concordia slipped to 0-2. Wyatt Ehlers tossed two touchdown passes.

  • Following a 17-10 home loss to Doane, the Bulldogs will take their act on the road for the first time in 2019. Concordia will be headed to Storm Lake, Iowa, for a night battle with NCAA Division III Buena Vista.

  • In the opening game of the 2019 season, Concordia showcased an improved passing game and a nasty group of linebackers. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs came up short in a 17-10 loss to Doane.

  • The 65th all-time meeting between Concordia and Doane will take place underneath the Bulldog Stadium lights on Saturday night. It will mark the first home night game for the Bulldogs since 2015.

  • The page has been turned and the Concordia football program is looking ahead to the start of the 2019 season. It will open up Sept. 7 when Doane makes a visit to Bulldog Stadium for a night game.

  • Named an NAIA first team All-American by the Associated Press in 2018, Lane Napier has also been chosen to the 2019 NAIA Preseason Starting Lineup. Napier led the NAIA with 142 tackles in 2018.
