    Bulldogs sack DWU

    Behind another stellar defensive performance, the Bulldogs returned to the win column in a 24-17 decision over Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday (Oct. 12). Concordia's defense collected six sacks.

  • A rollercoaster first half of the season leads into Saturday (Oct. 12)'s kickoff versus Dakota Wesleyan. The two sides will go head-to-head in a game set for a 1 p.m. kickoff. DWU seeks its first GPAC win.

  • A mud bowl broke out on Saturday (Oct. 5) afternoon in Jamestown, N.D., where the host Jimmies celebrated their homecoming with a 13-10 four-overtime win over Concordia. Both teams had fewer than 200 total yards.

  • For his role in the 16-14 homecoming victory over Briar Cliff, freshman safety AJ Jenkins has been named the GPAC Defensive Player of the Week. Jenkins intercepted a pass, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble.

  • Concordia held Briar Cliff to 191 total yards and forced seven turnovers in a 16-14 homecoming victory on Saturday (Sept. 28). The Bulldogs (2-2, 2-1 GPAC) have now won back-to-back conference games.

  • A two-time All-American at tight end, Ross Wurdeman has been chosen as an NAIA Hall of Famer. He is the fourth Concordia alum to get the call to the hall, joining Carol Bailey-Moravec, Gene Brooks and Kregg Einspahr.
