YORK, Neb. – In a renewal of their annual rivalry, the Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Golf team met up with Doane on Saturday (April 11) in the Bulldog-Tiger Cup. The Tigers won going away, taking the matchup by the count of 18.5 to 2.5. The match play event was staged at York Country Club in York, Neb.
The event featured both doubles and singles matches. Head Coach Brett Muller’s squad picked up a win in doubles from the combo of Brock Rogers and Jacob Dowd (3&1). In singles, freshman Kamden Zomer was the bright spot as he won 2up. The rest of the Cup was dominated by Doane.
The outing at York was the first for Concordia since placing seventh at the Bethel Spring Invite on March 28-29. Everything now leads to the 2026 GPAC Men’s Golf Championships. This year’s conference tournament will be held at Dakota Dunes Country Club in Dakota Dunes, S.D., April 20-21. The Bulldogs will attempt to move up the ladder after placing 10th at the 2025 GPAC Championships.
