SEWARD, Neb. – As announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), Concordia University Men’s Golf student-athletes Drew D’Ercole and Justin Webert have been recognized as 2023-24 NAIA Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars. The award honors student-athletes for performance athletically and academically. To receive All-America Scholar distinction, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically, participate in 50 percent of the team’s rounds and have a stroke average below 78.0.
Having completed five years as a Bulldog, D’Ercole (Papillion, Neb.) put together an impressive resume that includes four GPAC All-Conference awards. He wrapped up his collegiate playing career by placing fourth at the conference tournament. In addition, D’Ercole has twice been named an NAIA PING Central All-Region award winner and has been recognized as an Academic All-American by CSC and an All-America Scholar (twice) by the Golf Coaches Association of America. He is a four-time NAIA Scholar Athlete. D’Ercole’s golf career included eight top-five and 13 top-10 tournament finishes. He majored in Recreation and Sport Studies and Business Administration.
A Lincoln, Neb., native, Webert served as the team’s No. 2 golfer this past season with an 18-hole average of 76.6. Webert has also been honored as a GCAA Scholar All-American twice and a two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete as an Accounting major. Webert joined D’Ercole with Academic All-District accolades from CSC in 2024.
