2022-23 Concordia Men’s Golf Schedule
SEWARD, Neb. – The fall 2022 slate for Concordia University Men’s Golf is now public, as of Monday (July 18). The Bulldogs are all set to open the 2022-23 season at the Mount Marty Invite in late August. That event will be one of five official tournaments during the fall portion of the campaign. Beginning with this season, the entirety of the GPAC Golf Championships will be played in the spring.
Head Coach Brett Muller’s men’s team will be coming off a sixth place GPAC finish this past 2021-22 season. Ivan Yabut led the way individually by placing in a tie for fifth in the conference. Yabut and Drew D’Ercole (two-time Honorable Mention All-GPAC) will be back to lead the way for Concordia.
Two home events are coming up in early September as the Bulldogs will co-host (along with Doane) the Blue River Invite on Sept. 6-7 before putting on the Concordia Alumni Match Play event (unofficial tournament) on Sept. 10. Concordia will experience an unfamiliar course in late August when it takes part in the UC Ferguson Classic hosted by Oklahoma City University (Aug. 29-30). Once again, the Bulldogs will compete at the Siouxland Invite (Sept. 12-13) and the Nebraska Intercollegiate (Sept. 30-Oct. 1).
The spring portion of the schedule will be announced at a later date. The 2023 NAIA Men’s Golf Championship is set for next May 16-19 at Las Sendas Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz.
