The Bulldogs carded a team score of 342 on Monday (Sept. 28) and sit in ninth place in the GPAC standings at the conclusion of one round. Play will resume on Tuesday.

After three regular-season tournaments, the Concordia Men’s Golf team now preps for the fall portion of the 2020-21 GPAC Championships. It will take place Sept. 28-29 in Elkhorn, Neb.

The Bulldogs put together a solid two-day run in Lawrence, Kan., where they placed fifth at the Ottawa Fall Invite. Four Concordia golfers shot in the 70s in round two.

Three Bulldogs shot 75 or better as the Bulldogs carded a season low team score on day one of the Ottawa Fall Invite. Concordia is seven strokes off the lead heading into day two.

In wrapping up its second event of the fall, the Concordia Men's Golf Team placed seventh at the Siouxland Invite. Individually, freshman Ivan Yabut placed 21st to lead the Bulldogs.

Led by freshman Ivan Yabut, the Bulldogs turned in their top round of the young season while in action at the Siouxland Invite. Concordia sits in seventh place heading into Tuesday.

Young Bulldogs such as Nathan Auffet, Drew D'Ercole and Ivan Yabut led the way as Concordia improved vastly on day two of the Blue River Classic co-hosted with Doane.

In rainy and windy conditions on Tuesday (Sept. 8), the Bulldogs opened the season by carding a 356 in round one of the Blue River Classic. Freshman Ivan Yabut paced Concordia with an 84.

Ten teams and a total of 75 golfers will make up the field at the 2020 Blue River Classic, which will be co-hosted by Concordia along with Doane on Sept. 8-9.
