• Junior Tylar Samek shot a 74 to top his team at the Midland Fall Invite on Wednesday (Sept. 19). He was one of three Bulldogs to shoot scores in the 70s. Concordia placed 13th as a team.

  • Nolan Zikas has gotten his senior season off to an impressive start. In his latest outing, the La Vista, Neb., native broke a program record for a 36-hole event and won the Siouxland Invite, leading to GPAC Golfer of the Week honors.

  • Senior Nolan Zikas had himself a tournament by breaking a school record for 36-hole score and by winning the Siouxland Invite. Zikas' event championship helped the team to a fourth-place finish.

  • A strong start to his senior season continues for Nolan Zikas, who shot a two-under-par 69 on the opening day of the Siouxland Invite. He leads the field of 82 heading into day two. The Bulldogs are in fourth place as a team.

  • The golf course became a sanctuary for Nolan Zikas, who fought victoriously against cancer. The fight became especially intense during his freshman year. The star golfer is now two-and-a-half years cancer free.

  • An accomplished performer with three collegiate seasons in the books, perennial all-conference honoree Nolan Zikas has been named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar by the GCAA.

  • Nolan Zikas is now 3-for-3 in regards to earning all-conference accolades. He placed 16th in the GPAC this season and broke the program record for lowest scoring average in a single season.
