A strong start to his senior season continues for Nolan Zikas, who shot a two-under-par 69 on the opening day of the Siouxland Invite. He leads the field of 82 heading into day two. The Bulldogs are in fourth place as a team.
Nolan Zikas highlighted the efforts of the Bulldog men's golf team in its first outing of the 2018-19 season. Zikas shot a 70 and placed second at the Briar Cliff Fall Invite on Wednesday (Sept. 5).

Tyler Ehresman and Grant Suchanek have collected NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors. Ehresman has earned the award for the second year in a row while Suchanek is a first-time honoree.
Nolan Zikas is now 3-for-3 in regards to earning all-conference accolades. He placed 16th in the GPAC this season and broke the program record for lowest scoring average in a single season.
Led by an experienced top five, the Concordia men's golf team moved up from seventh in the GPAC in 2016-17 to fifth in 2017-18. The Bulldogs used the same five golfers at each GPAC round.
The Concordia men's golf team will go into the final round of the GPAC championships in fifth place. Individually, Nolan Zikas is in good position for another all-conference honor. The action will continue Tuesday (April 24).
One of three teams to tie for first with a 300, the Bulldogs won the Midland Spring Invite in dramatic fashion. A Kort Steele birdie on the second playoff hole provided the difference for tournament champion Concordia.
