Chetek, Wis., native Rylee Ladd starred at the Husker Strong Meet as she was named the Female Best Lifter award. She was one of seven Bulldogs to claim titles within their respective weight classes as the powerlifting season kicked off.
Seven Bulldogs opened the 2023-24 Concordia Weightlifting season at the Heartland Strength Omaha Classic and all seven qualified for the national championships. The event featured roughly 60 athletes on Sept. 16.

A former Bulldog student-athlete, Chevy Stout was promoted to a full-time role as Assistant Coach of the Concordia lifting sports and strength & conditioning programs. Stout began that role officially on April 17.
