The Concordia University Men's Soccer program has found a replacement season opener. Head Coach Jason Weides will take his Bulldogs to Central Methodist University (Mo.) for a 4:30 p.m. CT kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 5. Originally, Concordia had been slated to host Oklahoma City University on that same date.
Central Methodist has won back-to-back NAIA national championships and begins this season as the preseason favorite in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. The Eagles went 25-1 overall last season with their only loss coming at the hands of Bellevue University.
As it currently stands, the Bulldogs have a full allotment of 14 regular-season games. They are set to make their 2020 home debut on Sept. 9 when Bellevue visits Bulldog Stadium.
