Concordia had its chances to remain unbeaten, but two goals from Tyler Limmer lifted Northwestern to a double overtime victory late on Saturday (Oct. 7) night. Micah Lehenbauer scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs.
It's not always going to be as easy as the Bulldogs have made it look lately. On Wednesday (Oct. 4) afternoon, Concordia (10-0-1) kept its unbeaten record intact with a 2-1 victory at Briar Cliff.
For the first time since the close of the 2015 GPAC tournament title run, the Concordia men's soccer has received votes in the national poll. The Bulldogs are a top 40 team in the nation according to a number of metrics.
The wins and the awards continue to pile up for Concordia men's soccer. Jack Bennett and Lewis Rathbone both collected GPAC weekly honors, as announced by the conference on Tuesday (Oct. 3).
Undefeated and now ranked second in the official GPAC ratings, Concordia will face two significant road challenges this week with trips to Briar Cliff and Northwestern. The Bulldogs stand at 9-0-1.
Lewis Rathbone scored another goal and Concordia men's soccer claimed another victory. The still unbeaten Bulldogs rolled to a 3-0 win over a perennially strong Bellevue program on Saturday (Sept. 30).

Micah Lehenbauer provided the bulk of the fireworks in a 6-0 rout of Mount Marty on Tuesday (Sept. 26) evening. The Bulldogs (8-0-1) remain undefeated after nine regular season games.
Concordia is in the midst of a program record unbeaten streak that it hopes to continue this week in home action against Mount Marty and Bellevue. The Bulldogs enter the week at 7-0-1 overall.
As the lone undefeated team in the GPAC, Concordia has now broken a school record for longest unbeaten run to begin a season. The Bulldogs opened up conference play on Sunday (Sept. 24) with a 5-0 win over Dakota Wesleyan.
