For his efforts in leading the Bulldogs to a GPAC tournament title, the record-breaking Carlos Orquiz has been named to the NAIA Men’s Soccer All-Central Region team by the United Soccer Coaches.

The 2022 season represented one of the greatest in the history of the Concordia Men's Soccer program. The accomplishments included a GPAC tournament title, a national tournament appearance and one unforgettable ride as a family.
A First Team All-GPAC selection for the 2022 GPAC tournament championship Bulldogs, Max Bisinger has also been recognized as an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American. Bisinger starred for the Concordia back line.
A group of eight Bulldogs from the 2022 GPAC tournament championship men's soccer team have been recognized as NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Seven of the award winners are repeat NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Snowy conditions and sub-freezing temperatures greeted Concordia as it attempted to take down No. 9 Keiser in the first round of the NAIA National Championship. The Seahawks turned a 0-0 game after 60 minutes into a 3-0 win.

These are the moments that validate Carlos Orquiz's decision to return for a fifth year. The native of Chihuahua, Mexico, is soaking up the afterglow of a championship and the chance to end his collegiate career at the national tournament.
Three Bulldogs have represented the GPAC tournament championship Bulldogs with Academic All-District accolades: Max Bisinger, Iker Casanova and Carlos Orquiz. Each of them were honored for their combined work in the classroom and on the field.
The GPAC tournament champion men's soccer team will be headed to Winona Lake, Indiana. In the first round of the national tournament, the third-seeded Bulldogs will take on second-seeded Keiser University of Florida.
The GPAC tournament champion Bulldogs have landed eight players on the all-conference teams. First team accolades went to Dominic Abdel-Ahad, Max Bisinger and Carlos Orquiz.
Down 2-0 at halftime, Concordia displayed its championship mettle in rallying back to force overtime before then winning the PK shootout. The night culminated with the Bulldogs celebrating the program's second GPAC tournament title.
