After making just two starts in his collegiate career, Eduardo Alba has already picked up a GPAC weekly award. Alba was honored for his roll in last week's 3-0 victory over York. He made eight saves.
It got feisty between Concordia and York before things calmed down and the Bulldogs pulled away with a 3-0 victory. Freshman Eduardo Alba made eight saves while Concordia had three unique goal scorers.
The Concordia men's soccer team will make its first home appearance of the 2019 season on Tuesday when it hosts York. The Bulldogs (2-0) hope to avenge their 2018 loss to the Panthers.

Accustomed to competing in the top four of the league standings, the Concordia men's soccer team opens 2019 picked in a tie for third in the GPAC preseason poll. The Bulldogs will open up the season on the road on Aug. 24.
