CoSIDA All-District Softball Team
SEWARD, Neb. – A star at third base for the Concordia University softball program, junior Hhana Haro has been honored as a member of the 2020 Academic All-District® Softball Team, as announced on Thursday (May 14). Selections were made by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Haro earned a spot on the NAIA’s District 3 team.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District® Softball Teams have been released to recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. For more information about the Academic All-District® and Academic All-America® Teams program, please visit http://cosida.com. Due to the shortening of the 2020 season, career statistics were considered for these honors.
All Haro has done is sting the ball since she became a Bulldog. Before this season ended abruptly, Haro had recorded at least one hit all 12 games she played in and was batting .585 with five doubles, two home runs and 11 RBIs. Tabbed the 2018 GPAC Player of the Year as a freshman in 2018, Haro has put together impressive career totals: 34 doubles, two triples, 13 home runs and 86 RBIs in 93 games. She owns a career batting average of .473 to go along with a .514 on-base percentage and .715 slugging percentage. The native of Garden Grove, Calif., is a two-time first team All-GPAC honoree and is majoring in business administration.
Honorees selected first-team Academic All-District® will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. Academic AllAmerica® honorees will be announced from June 8-11.
