Softball set to host three doubleheaders this week

SEWARD, Neb. – The Concordia University softball team will end a stretch of a week without a game when it hosts Hastings in a doubleheader at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs (20-5, 5-1 GPAC) will just be getting started as they turn around and welcome Benedictine College (Kan.) on Thursday (5 p.m.) and Morningside on Saturday (1 p.m.).

All three twin bills will be webcast live via the Concordia Sports Network. Mike Meyer will provide the play-by-play.

On Monday Concordia appeared at No. 1 in the GPAC rankings for the fourth-straight time. The Bulldogs also received 24 points in last week's national poll, placing them sixth among the “others receiving votes.” Another national coaches’ top 25 poll will be released on Tuesday (April 8).
