Due to the current pandemic, Concordia's spring sports seniors did not enjoy a proper sendoff. In lieu of a normal senior day, we are recognizing the 2020 class of Concordia softball seniors.
It was Topil’s two-run homer that lifted the Bulldogs to an exhilarating 10-8 walk-off win over Midland to close a long Friday that included three win-or-go-home victories at the 2014 GPAC softball championships. Ultimately, Topil’s heroics clinched a spot in the 40-team 2014 NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round and a place in Saturday’s GPAC title affair with Morningside (12 p.m.).

A successful spring break in Kissimmee, Fla., ended on Thursday with a close loss to a nationally-ranked foe and then a 5-4 win with the help of Camry Moore's homer. The Bulldogs went 7-1 on the trip.
The Concordia University softball team brought less offensive flair to Wednesday’s games than it did two days earlier. No matter, another tripleheader of games saw three more wins as first-year head coach Todd LaVelle’s Bulldogs moved to 6-0 on the young season. Even while shuffling around the lineup with youngsters and new faces, Concordia found ways to defeat Valley City State (N.D.) and Purdue North-Central (Ind.) by identical 6-4 scores and then Presentation (S.D.) by a 3-2 final.
Concordia paraded around the bases on Wednesday (March 11), totaling 31 runs on 33 hits in wins over Michigan-Dearborn and Fisher. Hhana Haro and the Bulldogs (11-1) have won eight in a row.
Hhana Haro stayed hot at the plate, Zoe Flores whirled a shutout in the circle and the winning streak continued for Concordia softball. The Bulldogs are 9-1 after taking wins over Carlow and Hannibal LaGrange.
After a slow start on Sunday (March 8), the Bulldogs regrouped and defeated Lawrence Tech and Florida National as they began their spring break trip. Concordia is 7-1 overall.
A group of newcomers added some speed and athleticism to a roster already loaded with proven veterans. The results were impressive this fall for a Concordia softball team in good position to compete at the to of the GPAC.
The 2005 Bulldog softball team will officially join the Concordia Athletic Hall of Fame on Sept. 27. Guided by head coach Frank Greene, the '05 squad captured the program's first GPAC regular-season title.

Kenna Heath has gone from Bluejay to Cougar to Bulldog. Says Kenna, "God really showed me that I needed to do something different and I am working on trusting Him and His plan for me." Kenna joined the softball team at semester.
