A sweep at College of Saint Mary ensured that the Bulldogs will extend their season into the GPAC tournament. In Omaha on Wednesday (April 25), freshman Grace Bernhardt fired another gem to aid the cause.
Kenna Heath delivered the walk-off hit to help Concordia salvage a split with Dakota Wesleyan on Monday (April 23). Two extra-inning affairs resulted in a total of 18 innings played at Plum Creek Park.
Eight games are coming up this week for the Concordia softball program, which will attempt to improve its standing within the conference. Hhana Haro, now the school record holder for doubles in a season, is red hot.
Hhana Haro has not let up. The Garden Grove, Calif., native collected five more hits as part of a doubleheader split at Mount Marty on Saturday (April 21). The Bulldogs took the second game, 10-2.
Midland emerged from Plum Creek Park with a couple of blowout victories during action Tuesday night (April 17). One positive for Concordia was a 4-for-7 performance from Hhana Haro.
Half the GPAC slate remains with two weeks of regular-season action left to be completed for Concordia softball. The Bulldogs are 5-5 in conference play and are tied for fifth in the GPAC standings.
The Concordia softball program has announced that its scheduled Saturday doubleheader versus Dakota Wesleyan has moved to Friday (April 13). First pitch is now set for 4 p.m. CT.
In the completion of a suspended game that began on March 22, Concordia held on to beat Doane, 11-10, in Crete. Brittany Woolridge got the final three outs to earn the save in another GPAC nail biter.
One of the GPAC's top offensive teams struggled to get much of anything going in Tuesday's (April 10) doubleheader at Morningside. The host Mustangs won by scores of 8-0 and 5-1.
