Hhana a hit far from home

GPAC Player of the Year as just a freshman, Hhana Haro has been a hit far from her hometown of Garden Grove, Calif. To the cornfields of Nebraska, Hhana has brought with her a lot more than an abundance of H's.

  • A pair of losses meant at the GPAC tournament on Friday (May 4) meant the end of the line for Concordia softball. The Bulldogs concluded the 2018 campaign at 21-21 overall and were the league's No. 7 seed.

  • The Concordia softball team enters the postseason as the GPAC's No. 7 seed, just as it did in 2015 when it won the conference tournament title. The Bulldogs have won four of their last five contests.

  • Leah Kalkwarf helped Concordia salvage a split by delivering a walk-off single in game two of Saturday (April 28)'s doubleheader. Grace Bernhardt pitched another gem to lead the Bulldogs in the circle.

  • A sweep at College of Saint Mary ensured that the Bulldogs will extend their season into the GPAC tournament. In Omaha on Wednesday (April 25), freshman Grace Bernhardt fired another gem to aid the cause.

  • Kenna Heath delivered the walk-off hit to help Concordia salvage a split with Dakota Wesleyan on Monday (April 23). Two extra-inning affairs resulted in a total of 18 innings played at Plum Creek Park.

  • Eight games are coming up this week for the Concordia softball program, which will attempt to improve its standing within the conference. Hhana Haro, now the school record holder for doubles in a season, is red hot.

  • Hhana Haro has not let up. The Garden Grove, Calif., native collected five more hits as part of a doubleheader split at Mount Marty on Saturday (April 21). The Bulldogs took the second game, 10-2.
