SEWARD, Neb. – A pair of Bulldogs were recognized on the all-conference men’s tennis teams released on Thursday (May 10) by the GPAC. For their work at No. 1 doubles, sophomore Luke Zoller and freshman Jeremy Berryman collected All-GPAC accolades. Zoller also appeared as an honorable mention all-conference selection due to his play at No. 2 singles.
Berryman (Broken Arrow, Okla.) and Zoller (Lenexa, Kan.) teamed up at No. 1 doubles for all five GPAC matches in 2018. They went 3-2 in those contests with wins over their counterparts from Midland, Morningside and Mount Marty. Overall this season, Berryman and Zoller were 11-7 as a doubles tandem. They were 9-4 when playing at No. 1.
In singles action, Zoller produced a team high 10 wins. He went 3-2 in GPAC singles action, claiming wins over opponents from Doane, Midland and Mount Marty.
Fourth-year head coach Joel Reckewey’s squad concluded the year at 8-11 overall. The season ended with a 5-3 loss to Morningside in the GPAC quarterfinals.
