Bulldogs fall to UNO, 7-0

The Concordia University, Nebraska, men's tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss to University of Nebraska, Omaha on Wednesday, April 11.

The loss dropped the Bulldogs to 5-6 on the season, while the Mavericks moved to 5-8.

Facing the soon to be DI Mavericks offered a significant challenge for the Bulldogs.  Playing at the No. 5 singles position, sophomore Michael McCartney (Davenport, Iowa)  pushed UNO's Eric Bussohl in a 6-1, 7-5 loss.  Fellow sophomore Nathan Wingfield (Greendale, Wis.)  collected the most games for Concordia in his 6-3, 6-4 loss to Brandon Otoski at the third singles slot.

The Bulldogs will be back in action on Thursday, April 12 as both the men's and women's tennis teams host Midland University at 4:30 p.m.
