2023-24 Concordia Men’s Tennis Schedule
SEWARD, Neb. – The Concordia University, Nebraska Tennis programs have announced their schedules for the spring of 2024. As of Thursday, Dec. 7, the upcoming men’s slate includes 17 dual matches, including the six official GPAC conference contests. Back in the fall, the Bulldogs competed in four tournaments and two dual meets.
Previously a head coach at Virginia Tech, Washington State University and the University of Nebraska, Lisa Hart took the reins of the Concordia men’s and women’s tennis programs in August. She inherited teams that finished with 2022-23 records of 12-9 (3-3 GPAC) on the men’s side and 13-9 (4-3 GPAC) on the women’s side.
The spring season for the men’s squad is scheduled to get started on Feb. 2 with a neutral site match versus Ottawa University (Kan.). Each of the team’s nonconference opponents is listed below. The bulk of those foes compete as members of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs will also take on an NCAA Division II opponent in the University of Nebraska-Kearney and two NCAA Division III squads in Central College (Iowa) and Wartburg College (Iowa).

Conference play will officially get started on March 16 with a visit to Midland. The regular season will wrap up on April 20 with a match at Hastings. The GPAC tournament will then take place April 26-27. The venue has been moved to the Morningside campus in Sioux City, Iowa, as a change to when it was previously held at Fremont High School. The 2024 NAIA Tennis National Championships are set for May 14-18 in Mobile, Ala.
