SEWARD, Neb. – A standout for the Concordia University men’s tennis program both on the court and in the classroom, junior Luke Zoller has been honored by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). On Thursday (May 16), the organization announced Zoller as a 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Men’s At-Large Team member of NAIA’s District 3. The junior from Lenexa, Kan., is on a pre-engineering track who majors in physics and minors in math.
In addition, Zoller was named an All-GPAC performer this past season for his work at the No. 2 singles position. He was also recognized as honorable mention all-conference in doubles. Zoller is on track to earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete accolades.
The CoSIDA Academic All-Distrct® At-Large Teams have been released to recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. District 3 includes the states of Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
At-Large Google Cloud Academic All-America® Teams are scheduled to be announced on May 30. As an all-district choice, Zoller automatically is placed on the ballot for All-America voting.
