The Concordia Men's Tennis program was honored as an All-Academic Team while seven team members were recognized as Scholar-Athletes by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
After going 11-2 in singles matches and again putting up high marks in the classroom, Joe Bindl has been named a CoSIDA Academic All-District award winner.

First there was a 5-0 start in GPAC play and now Concordia Men's Tennis will play in the GPAC tournament final for the first time ever. The Bulldogs defeated Doane in the semis.
Thanks to a 5-1 GPAC record, Concordia Men's Tennis earned the No. 2 seed in the GPAC tournament. The Bulldogs have a bye to the semifinals and await the Doane/Northwestern winner.
Two teams with 5-0 GPAC records met in Fremont on Tuesday (April 27). Midland showed off its might in a 7-0 victory over the Bulldogs, who finished in second place in the standings.
In a nail-biter of a match, Joe Bindl clinched the team win over Doane on Wednesday (April 21) while coming through in the clutch. The Bulldogs are now 5-0 in the GPAC.
Now 4-0 in GPAC play, Concordia will face a significant challenge on Wednesday when it hosts Doane. The Bulldogs will use the day to recognize a pair of seniors.
