• Concordia Athletics has announced the hiring of David DeSimone as head tennis coach, effective Feb. 18. DeSimone will also serve in an athletic fund development role. He is a graduate of Kalamazoo College.

  • After four seasons leading the Concordia tennis programs, Joel Reckewey stepped away from the head coaching position. Reckewey won a combined 63 matches and led the women to the GPAC semifinals three times.

    Works tabbed NAIA Scholar-Athlete

    Junior Conner Works has earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition following his first season as a member of the tennis program. Works is majoring in history.

  • Jeremy Berryman and Luke Zoller represented the Concordia men's tennis program with all-conference honors, as announced by the GPAC on Thursday (May 10). Berryman and Zoller went 3-2 at No. 1 doubles.

  • Jeremy Berryman and Luke Zoller led the charge with a win at No. 1 doubles as the Bulldogs made a bid to reach the GPAC semifinals. However, they were clipped by Morningside, 5-3.

  • As the No. 5 seed, the Bulldogs have drawn fourth-seeded Morningside in the quarterfinals of the GPAC tournament. Concordia hopes to build off a win in the final match of the regular season.

  • The regular season came to a close in Sioux City, Iowa, on Friday (April 27) for Concordia. After a 5-4 loss to Morningside, the Bulldogs rebounded with a breezy 9-0 victory over Mount Marty.

    Concordia blanked at Hastings

    Despite a strong push at No. 2 singles by Luke Zoller, the Concordia men's tennis team came up empty in a 9-0 loss at Hastings on Tuesday (April 24). The Bulldogs are still searching for their first GPAC win.
