On the heels of a GPAC opening win over Morningside, the Bulldogs will try to build momentum this week as they play three matches in three days. The opponents will be Mount Marty, Central College and Northwestern.
While beginning GPAC play at Morningside on Saturday (March 26), the Bulldogs prevailed, 4-3, with the help of winning performances in both singles and doubles from Eduardo Luzzi and Juan Rabellino. Concordia moved to 3-6 overall.
Despite the 6-1 team score in the loss, Concordia competed closely with Missouri Valley College on Saturday (March 19). Isaac Howes pulled out a win at No. 2 singles in a super tiebreaker.
Strong doubles play highlighted a 5-2 loss to Bethel (Kan.) in home action on Wednesday (March 16). Notably, Jeremiah Berryman emerged with wins in both doubles and singles for the Bulldogs (2-5).
In their first action since Feb. 26, the Bulldogs were sharp while dominating visiting Sterling, 7-0, on Tuesday (March 15). Ten Concordia players contributed in wins in doubles and/or singles.
