Concordia Track & Field Camps

The Concordia University Nebraska Track & Field program invites middle school and high school aged athletes to join our Fall Sessions and Winter Camps. Designed and led by our nationally recognized coaching staff, these sessions provide elite instruction in all event areas—sprints, jumps, hurdles, and throws—focusing on technical development, performance progression, and competition preparation.

Dates: Varying depending on event

Location: Walz Fieldhouse – Bulldog Stadium- Outdoor Throws Venue

Camp Options

Shot Put Camp – Developmental and advanced techniques, as well as competition prep for Shot Put.

Discus Camp- Developmental and advanced technical progression, as well as competition prep for Discus Thow.

Hurdles Camp– Speed mechanics, explosive training, and event-specific drills.

Horizontal Jumps – Approach consistency, takeoff mechanics, and plyometric development for both the long jump and triple jump.

Pole Vault- Develop a ground to air progression to increase height and runway speed.

High Jump- Learn how to do a proper runway approach, takeoff mechanics and over the bar drills to increase your competition height.

What to Bring

Pole Vault: If possible please bring your own poles. If you can’t we will have all our pole vault poles available for use. Dress for a normal track practice which would include running shoes, track spikes with 1⁄4” or less pyramid spikes, and workout clothes.

Throws: Dress for a normal track practice which would include running shoes and your throwing shoes.

Sprints, Hurdles, Jumps: Dress for a normal track practice which would include workout shoes and event-specific completion shoes.
