SEWARD, Neb. – The exploits of sophomore Adysen McCarter and senior Adrianna Rodencal have yielded a sweep of GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports GPAC Women’s Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards. Both Concordia University, Nebraska Track & Field standouts have won multiple GPAC weekly awards during the 2025-26 indoor season. Rodencal was tabbed the women’s NAIA National Track & Field Athlete of the Week by the USTFCCCA on Monday.
Rodencal has run eight separate 60-meter hurdle times faster than any other NAIA women’s athlete this season. At last week’s Sevigne Husker Invite, Rodencal clocked in at 8.38 in the prelims and 8.26 in the finals, beating out a field made up largely of NCAA Division I and II competitors while also improving upon her NAIA leading time. The Lincoln Lutheran High School alum also ran a 200-meter personal best of 24.96 (NAIA B standard) at the Husker Invite. In addition to pacing the NAIA in the 60 hurdles, Rodencal sports NAIA national rankings of 11th as part of the 4x4 relay, 17th in the pentathlon, 18th in the 400 meters and 26th in the 200 meters. Rodencal is a Biochemistry major.
While consistently hitting the NAIA auto standard in the triple jump, McCarter has earned her third GPAC Athlete of the Week award this season. The Overton, Neb., native boosted her school record in the event to 39’ 3” at the Husker Invite and placed second in a strong field. McCarter leads the GPAC and ranks fourth nationally in the triple jump. She qualified for the indoor and outdoor national meets as a freshman in 2025. McCarter is a Pre-Chiropractic major.
The indoor season will continue this Saturday with the Concordia Invite on Saturday. The meet schedule can be viewed HERE.
