2026 GPAC Outdoor All-Conference Awards (conference release)

SEWARD, Neb. – Senior Adrianna Rodencal capped her final GPAC conference meet in style. After piling up the most points among conference women’s athletes, Rodencal earned GPAC Most Outstanding Athlete of the Meet recognition. On Thursday (May 7), Rodencal was honored as the women’s 2026 GPAC Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year. Rodencal was joined on the GPAC Outdoor All-Conference honor roll by 48 men’s and women’s teammates. All-conference accolades are attained by athletes who place in the top eight of individual events and top three for relays.

The awards keep on coming for Rodencal, now a five-time GPAC Athlete of the Year in her legendary career. The Lincoln native captured the 12th, 13th and 14th conference event championships as a Bulldog as part of last week’s GPAC meet hosted by Midland. Rodencal broke her own meet records in the 100-meter hurdles (13.14) and 400-meter hurdles (58.36) while also running the second leg for the 4x400-meter relay that won the GPAC title in school record time of 3:47.14. Additionally, Rodencal helped the 4x1 relay to a time of 46.80, equaling a program standard. For her time in the 400 hurdles, Rodencal was honored with the Women’s Track Performance of the meet award. Rodencal earned 24.5 team points and was tabbed the GPAC Most Outstanding Athlete of the Meet for the fifth time in her career.  Rodencal currently owns the NAIA’s top times in both hurdles events. She has been named an NAIA National Athlete of the Week four times this outdoor season.

The list of all-conference honorees from Head Coach Matt Beisel’s programs also includes conference champions Emry Gutz (javelin), Jonny Jurchen (race walk), Trey Robertson (steeplechase) and Rodencal’s 4x4 teammates: Kayla Kirchner, Tayden Kirchner and Adysen McCarter.
