2024-25 Concordia Indoor Track & Field Schedule
SEWARD, Neb. – The 2024-25 indoor slate for Concordia University Track & Field will look much like the one from 2023-24. The program has announced a new slate featuring seven regular season meets, including four at home. The indoor season will get started with the Bulldog Early Bird Meet in December for the sixth-straight season. The final destination for the indoor campaign will be Gainesville, Fla.
This will mark Head Coach Matt Beisel’s ninth season presiding over the cross country and track & field programs. This past year, the Bulldog women’s track program pushed its string of consecutive GPAC championships to 11 with a sweep of 2024 conference indoor and outdoor titles. The women also took home an NAIA nationals trophy by way of a third-place indoor national finish. The men made waves by placing in the top 10 nationally for both indoor and outdoor. National champions included the women’s indoor 4x800 meter relay as well as Zach Zohner in the pole vault (indoor and outdoor) and Chris Wren in the hammer throw.
This coming season’s home meets will be the Bulldog Early Bird (Dec. 13-14), the Polar Dog Invite (Jan. 17), the Concordia Classic (Jan. 24-25) and the Concordia Indoor Invite (Feb. 7). Beisel’s program will also remain in-state for the UNL Graduate Classic (Jan. 17-18), the Sevigne Husker Invitational (Jan. 31-Feb. 1) and the Fred Beile Classic (Feb. 1).
The 2025 GPAC Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 14-15) will be staged in Mitchell, S.D., home to Dakota Wesleyan. That site also hosted the conference indoor meet back in 2020. National qualifiers will be headed to Gainesville, Fla., for 2025 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships, Feb. 27-March 1. It will mark the first time the NAIA indoor national meet has ever been held in the state of Florida.
