Prepped at Loomis Public School … coached by Tye Spies … lettered all four years in track … medaled at the state meet in the high jump and was a qualifier in the 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles … also played basketball, football and baseball all four years … as a football player, earned multiple all-district awards and was named all-area by the Kearney Hub … in basketball, was tabbed all-conference multiple times and honorable mention all-state as a junior and senior … helped basketball team reach state twice with one state runner up finish … served as a team captain in football and basketball … achieved honor roll status … served as an elementary student mentor.
