Prepped at Boone Central High School … coached by Susan Roberts … lettered all four years … three-year state qualifier and state medalist in high jump … won three high jump district titles and two high jump conference championships … state high jump place finishes were sixth as a sophomore, third as a junior and runner up as a senior … equaled high school high jump record of 6’ 8” … helped Cardinals to two district titles … also competed in football and basketball for four years … served as a team captain in football and was named honorable mention all-state and second team all-district while helping the Cardinals win a Class C1 state championship … varsity starter on basketball team … member of National Honor Society … achieved honor roll status.
