Prepped at Minden High School (senior) and Axtell High School (freshman through junior) … coached by Jo Philippi (Axtell) and Shawn Wheelock (Minden) … lettered in track and cross country all four years … qualified for state cross country four times and set the Axtell 5k school record … also garnered all-district, all-conference and all-state honors in cross country each season … qualified twice for state track while competing in the pole vault, 4x800 meter relay, mile and two mile … helped Minden cross country win conference and district titles in 2023 … played basketball all four years and started for three, earning all-conference, all-district and honorable mention all-state accolades … named academic all-state … achieved high honor roll distinction.
