Senior Addie Shaw set two new personal bests and beat out a loaded field of competitors at the Concordia Invite. As a result, the native of Bassett, Neb., earned GPAC weekly honors.
Senior Addie Shaw dominated in the final indoor home meet of her career and the Bulldogs added three fresh automatic national qualifying marks while hosting the Concordia Invite.
A combined 10 nationally-ranked men's and women's squads will be on hand on Friday (Feb. 14) when the Bulldogs host the Concordia Invite. It will mark the final indoor home meet of 2020.
While continuing to perform at elite levels, Rachel Battershell and Allie Brooks keep raking in honors. The duo has combined for six GPAC Athlete of the Week awards this indoor season.
On a relatively light day of action, the Concordia 4x400 relays blazed around the Devaney Center track in efforts that met the national qualifying standard once again. The Bulldogs wrapped up the weekend at the Husker Invite.
While rubbing elbows with NCAA Division I opponents, Concordia track and field continues to prove itself capable of competing at any level of collegiate athletics. The Bulldogs were spread amongst two meets on Friday (Feb. 7).
Allie Brooks has been awarded GPAC Field Athlete of the Week honors after breaking her own record and ascending to the top of the nation in the pole vault. Brooks cleared 13 feet at the Concordia Classic.
Allie Brooks and Adrianna Shaw both broke their own school records on a day when Bulldog athletes combined for 10 event titles and 11 performances that met the national qualifying standard at the Concordia Classic.
Based on performances so far this indoor season, the Concordia men's and women's track teams landed at No. 2 in the NAIA national ratings released by the USTFCCCA.
