• Lucas Wiechman stole the spotlight by winning three individual events and as part of the 4x400 meter relay at the GPAC indoor championships. His efforts helped the Concordia men to a GPAC runner-up team finish. The women placed fourth.

  • Athlete of the week recognition rolled in for a pair of Concordia University track and field representatives with national leading marks. Kali Robb and Lucas Wiechman both garnered weekly awards for their efforts at the Concordia Invite.

  • At Friday’s Concordia Indoor Invitational inside the Fieldhouse, the Bulldogs totaled 59 personal bests, seven event titles and five runners up. Wiechman set new personal bests in the pole vault and 60 meter hurdles in a big performance.

  • A total of 12 institutions will be represented at the Concordia Indoor Invitational, which will take place inside the Fieldhouse on Friday. The Bulldogs bring 17 automatic national qualifying marks into the meet.

  • The Concordia University track and field program took three of four GPAC weekly awards. Allie Brooks, CJ Muller and Lucas Wiechman all garnered conference accolades on Wednesday (Feb. 8).

  • Allie Brooks broke two school records in another big day for the sophomore from Seward. Additionally, Lucas Wiechman rose to the top of the national leaderboard in the heptathlon and five event titles were won by Bulldogs.
