    De Jong garners GPAC weekly award

    A season best effort at last week’s Nisely Classic has led to Concordia's Morgan De Jong being named the GPAC Field Athlete of the Week. The reigning GPAC weight throw champ, De Jong currently ranks second in the NAIA in the event.

  • Athletes from nine different institutions will be on hand for the 2022 Concordia Polar Dog on Saturday, which will include a women’s pentathlon and the usual lineup of field and running events.

  • An automatic national qualifying time produced by Rylee Haecker emerged as the big moment of the day as Concordia University Track & Field got back to action on Friday (Jan. 14) at the Graduate Classic hosted by the University of Nebraska.

  • After more than a month since opening the indoor season, the Bulldogs will be back in action this weekend with meets at the University of Nebraska and Doane. Concordia athletes have totaled eight automatic national qualifying marks.

  • A series of national qualifying performances at the Concordia Early Bird Meet led to Sarah Lewis being named the GPAC Track Athlete of the Week. Lewis turned in two times that rank in the top three on the program's all-time lists.

  • The opening meet of the 2022 indoor season yielded 12 event titles, eight automatic national qualifying marks and three performances that met the 'B' national standard. Individually, Sarah Lewis enjoyed an impressive meet.

  • The 2021-22 indoor track season will officially kick off Friday and Saturday (Dec. 10-11) as the Bulldogs host the Concordia Early Bird Meet. The meet will feature athletes from eight different institutions.
