The Concordia men's and women's track and field squads combined for 29 NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards, as announced on Friday (May 24). The list includes NAIA shot put national champ Samantha Liermann.
Five Bulldogs earned All-America honors on the first day of the 2019 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships. The haul was delivered by Concordia throwers and vaulters for nationally-ranked squads.

The Concordia track and field programs will take 38 athletes to the NAIA outdoor national championships next week (May 23-25) in Gulf Shores, Ala. The Bulldogs lead the field with 23 women's competitors.
For their work in leading the Concordia women's track and field program to a GPAC outdoor title, coaches Matt Beisel Ed McLaughlin were both honored on Thursday (May 16) by the USTFCCCA.

The Twilight Meet will mark the third home meet of the 2019 outdoor season for Concordia. It will also be the final meet prior to the NAIA national championships coming up May 23-25.
