The final day of the national championship meet brought another big thrill with Addie Shaw winning an NAIA discus title. The women's team placed fifth in the national while the men slotted in at 31st.
Samantha Liermann rose back to the top of the hill in the NAIA shot put battle while headlining the second day of competition at the outdoor national meet. The men's 4x8 also claimed All-America honors.
The Concordia men's and women's track and field squads combined for 29 NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards, as announced on Friday (May 24). The list includes NAIA shot put national champ Samantha Liermann.
