SEWARD, Neb. – After a four-year absence, the Concordia University “Shoot At” has returned. The event, previously held every year from 2000 – 2011, will take place on Friday, Oct. 2 at the Oak Creek Sporting Club outside Brainard, Neb.
Once again, the Shoot At will feature both a European hunt in the morning and an afternoon sporting clay competition, with a luncheon in between. Participants can choose to take part in the entire day or just the morning or afternoon sessions, both of which include lunch. All proceeds from the Shoot At benefit the university’s scholarship fund and its trap and skeet team, which is in its second year of competition.
Oak Creek Sporting Club is an easy 45 minute drive from both Omaha and Lincoln, making this a convenient opportunity to enjoy a fall Friday in eastern Nebraska. The Shoot At is an excellent way to support Christian higher education and spend time with friends in an outdoor setting.
The Bulldog trap and skeet team is coached by Joel Helmer. To learn more about the program, click HERE.
