SEWARD, Neb. – A group of four Bulldogs from the Concordia University Shooting Sports program were recognized on Tuesday (June 25) by College Sports Communicators (CSC). The organization announced the following individuals as 2023-24 Academic All-District® At-Large selections: Jessie Ciezki, Kaylee Hinton, Wayne Moore and Buchannan Tietjen. All four student-athletes have earned this distinction for the first time.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Student-athletes must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher in order to be nominated for this award. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

Each of the honorees from Head Coach Dylan Owens’ program qualified for the 2024 ACUI National Championships that were held in San Antonio, Texas. Ciezki achieved impressive heights in taking home the women’s open skeet national title. Meanwhile, Hinton was the 2023 Prairie Circuit Conference champion in women’s trap.
