The work of sophomore Justin Zuhlke and freshman Erin Lokke highlighted the third outing of the season for Concordia University trap and skeet.
The Concordia University Trap & Skeet team competed at the SCTP Central Region Open Championship at the Heartland Shooting Park in Grand Island last weekend.
Second-year head coach Joel Helmer took a group of nine competitors to the Fort Hays State University tournament to open the season for Concordia University trap and skeet on Sept. 19-20. The Bulldogs placed sixth among the eight teams.
After a four-year absence, the Concordia University “Shoot At” has returned. The event, previously held every year from 2000 – 2011, will take place on Friday, Oct. 2 at the Oak Creek Sporting Club outside Brainard, Neb.
