A pair of Bulldogs won individual national titles and Concordia Shooting Sports came away with a 2024 ACUI National Championships place finish of seventh in the Division 2 breakdown (2,784 targets busted).
A group of 15 Bulldogs will represent Concordia Shooting Sports at the 2024 ACUI National Championships. The event is slated to run March 19-23 in San Antonio, Texas.
The 2023-24 season resumed over the weekend (March 9-10) at the Doane Invite as the Bulldogs placed fifth HOA. Concordia did its best work in skeet while tuning up for the 2024 ACUI National Championships.
Jack Nelson rose to the top of the field while leading the way at this fall's final outing for Concordia Shooting Sports. The Bulldogs placed third as a team at the 2023 Waco Trap & Skeet Collegiate Invitational in Waco, Texas.
Both Sam Blevins and Claire Kee took home individual awards while the Bulldogs placed second high overall as a team at the eighth annual Concordia Bulldog Sporting Invitational. The event featured nine teams and more than 100 individuals.
The eighth annual Concordia Bulldog Sporting Invitational will run this Saturday and Sunday at Oak Creek Sporting Club. The program spent this past weekend working the Kids & Clays Sporting Clays Tournament, also at Oak Creek.
Senior Jack Nelson ran a perfect 100 in skeet while highlighting the efforts of Concordia at the Hastings Invite. The Bulldogs placed third HOA out of 11 in competing at Heartland Public Shooting Park in Grand Island.
For the second year in a row, Concordia Shooting Sports has claimed a third-place conference finish. The Bulldogs cracked 1,849 targets towards the high overall leaderboard while duking it out with familiar rivals in North Platte.
Mason Ward claimed the men's trap title at the Midland Open while highlighting the efforts of 25 Bulldogs at Lincoln Trap & Skeet Club. As a team, Concordia placed second in trap and finished fifth HOA out of 15 squads.
Led by team HOA leader Sam Blevins and HOA female champion Claire Kee, the Bulldogs placed second HOA a the Mid-Plains Community College Fall Flurry. Concordia also finished second in each of the three disciplines contested.

Following a successful 2023-24 season, Concordia Shooting Sports returns nine national qualifiers while welcoming in five freshmen. The Bulldogs will begin the 2024-25 slate with the Fort Hays State Shoot in September.
