A group of 22 Bulldogs represented the program at the NCSSAA National Championships and helped the team to a third-place overall finish. Individual national titles were won by Wyatt Hambly, Sam Blevins and Claire Kee.
The 2023 NCSSAA National Championships get started on March 14 for the Bulldogs and the field of qualifiers present in Vegas. Twenty-two athletes will represent Concordia at Clark County Shooting Complex.
Bulldogs Sam Blevins, Jack Nelson and Haley Schmutzer each competed at the 2023 Spring Selection Match sponsored by USA Shooting in Tucson, Ariz., Feb. 5-8. Blevins led the way by placing third overall and earning a M21 bronze medal.
In the final outing of the fall, Concordia added four national qualifiers to the season tally while placing fifth HOA out of a field of 18 teams. The Bulldogs were led by Wyatt Hambly, Tanner Muff and Buchannan Tietjen HOA.
Nine Bulldogs tested their skills in either international trap or international skeet while in action at the Greater Midwest Super Shoot on Thursday (Oct. 27). Seven of the nine Bulldogs cracked at least 80 targets in their respective events.

While hosting the seventh annual Concordia Bulldog Sporting Invitational, the Bulldogs placed fourth out of 11 teams in a competition that included more than 150 athletes. Tanner Muff led Concordia from an individual perspective.
