Former Bethel University (Tenn.) standout and Moscow, Tenn., native Dylan Owens has been named Concordia Head Shooting Sports Coach. Owens becomes the third head coach in program history.
In the wrap up to the 2021-22 season, the Bulldogs placed fifth in the Division 2 breakdown at the 2022 ACUI National Championships in San Antonio. Concordia captured national titles in Doubles American Skeet and International Skeet.
In the third event this spring, Concordia Shooting Sports placed second at the Simpson Invite (March 12-13) while being paced HOA by Jack Nelson. In addition, Mack Origer cracked 100 straight targets in skeet.
Wyatt Hambly shot solid scores across the board while leading the Bulldogs at the Doane Tiger Invitational on March 5-6. Concordia shot a team HOA total of 1,529. Hambly (311) and Wayne Moore (304) shot better than 300 HOA.
