In its first action since October, Concordia Shooting Sports placed third out of eight teams at the Lindenwood Invitational. The team's top shooters were Erin Lokke on the women's side and Wyatt Hambly on the men's side.
The charitable work of the Concordia Shooting Sports team received recognition from the Scholastic Clay Target Program website with a blog post written by Coach Scott Moniot.
In a unique event, the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) sponsored a virtual competition for colleges across the nation. The Bulldogs took first place in both trap and skeet.
Behind HOA champions Colten Uitermarkt and Sarah Schwacher, the Bulldogs took first place at the Hastings Bronco Invite (Oct. 10-11). It marked the team's third event title this fall.
While hosting the fifth annual Concordia Bulldog Sporting Invitational, the Bulldogs placed second out of seven squads. Monica Dale and Colten Uitermarkt won HOA individual titles.
After winning its first conference championship in school history, the Concordia University Shooting Sports team will be hosting the Concordia Bulldog Sporting Invitational this weekend. The two-day invitational will take place on Oct. 3-4.
