After a four-year absence, the Concordia University “Shoot At” has returned. The event, previously held every year from 2000 – 2011, will take place on Friday, Oct. 2 at the Oak Creek Sporting Club outside Brainard, Neb.

The ninth season of Concordia Shooting Sports will have a new feel to it as Dylan Owens takes over as head coach. Owens looks to build upon the sturdy foundation put in place in recent years by Coach Scott Moniot and a talented crew of student-athletes.

A traumatic injury suffered as an eighth grader gave Wyatt Hambly a greater perspective on life. It also steered him away from contact sports and down a path that led to competitive shooting and a college career at Concordia.

After having the national championships canceled last spring, the Concordia Shooting Sports Program has returned to Oak Creek with their sights set on doing their jobs and moving up the ladder.
The expectations are soaring for Concordia shooting sports under the guidance of head coach Scott Moniot. The Bulldogs hope to climb the national ladder after placing fourth at last season's ACUI Championships.
