Bulldogs conclude regular season with 3-0 loss at Northwestern
Northwestern College picked up a 3-0 GPAC volleyball win over Concordia on Saturday in Orange City. Scores of the match were 25-21, 25-11 and 25-13. The host Raiders improved to 18-15 overall and 11-5 in conference play. Concordia dropped its third straight to finish the regular season at 11-20 overall with a 4-12 GPAC mark.
Jaci Moret had a match-high 10 kills for Northwestern. Kate Boersma added nine kills and nine total blocks in the match. Kaitlin Floerchinger had 27 set assists, and Alexis Bart totaled 16 digs to lead Northwestern defensively.
Amanda Kisker (Lincoln, Neb.) tied for match-high honors with 10 kills. Kisker added 12 digs for the double-double. Amanda Abbott (Temcula, Calif.) finished with five kills, but no one else had more than two kills for the Bulldogs. Alexa Hopping (Sutherland, Neb.) led Concordia with eight set assists, and Carli Smith had a team-high 16 digs.
The Bulldogs will compete in the GPAC Tournament, which begins on November 8.
