Bulldogs drop fourth straight with 3-0 loss at Nebraska Wesleyan
Nebraska Wesleyan swept past Concordia 3-0 in GPAC volleyball on Saturday afternoon in Lincoln. Scores of the match were 25-23, 25-22 and 25-15. The Prairie Wolves improved to 22-3 overall and 11-2 in conference play with the win. Concordia dropped its fourth straight to fall to 11-16 overall and 1-11 in conference play.
Kelsey Elman had 11 kills to lead the way for the Prairie Wolves. Hannah Behrens added nine kills, and Allee Kuska had eight. Caitlin Anderson handed out 30 set assists, and Erika Goldsmith had a match-high 21 digs for Nebraska Wesleyan.
Sloan Brandon had a match-high 12 kills and added nine digs to lead the way for Concordia. Alex Szalawiga added a double-double with 11 kills and a team-high 15 digs, while Alexa Hopping totaled 16 set assists and 10 digs for the Bulldogs.
Concordia travels to Dordt College on October 25.
