SEWARD, Neb. – The Concordia University, Nebraska Volleyball program extended its national leading string of consecutive Team Academic Awards, as recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). The national best streak, across all divisions, has reached 28-straight years, dating back to 1999. The AVCA honors collegiate volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
The Team Academic Award is another marker of a successful 2025-26 academic year produced by Head Coach Ben Boldt’s Bulldogs. The ’25 team became the first in program history to advance to the NAIA National Semifinals. Concordia finished the season at 28-4 overall (15-1 GPAC) behind All-Americans Ashley Keck, Ella Waters and Ava Greene.
Academically, the 2025 Bulldogs earned 14 NAIA Scholar-Athlete and four College Sports Communicators Academic All-District awards. The All-District honors went to Shandy Faalii, Ashley Keck, Molli Martin and Lily Psencik. Keck was also honored as an NAIA First Team Academic All-American by CSC.
