SEWARD, Neb. – A pair of members of the Concordia University volleyball team picked up All-Nebraska recognition, as announced by the Omaha World-Herald on Saturday (Dec. 23). Tara Callahan and Emmie Noyd were named honorable mention All-Nebraska by the new outlet that considered players from Nebraska NAIA and NCAA Division III programs.
Noyd earned second team All-GPAC and Callahan garnered honorable mention all-conference honors this fall. Noyd led the team with a .308 hitting percentage while piling up 176 kills. Callahan completed her first collegiate season with 889 assists (9.0/set), 168 digs (1.7/set), 107 kills (1.1/set), 49 blocks and 21 aces.
The Bulldogs will look forward to the 2018 season when they will be under the direction of a new head coach. Ben Boldt was named head volleyball coach on Dec. 19.
