SEWARD, Neb. – For the second year in a row, the accomplished Ashley Keck has been named GPAC Attacker of the Year. Keck was one of seven Bulldogs from the Concordia University, Nebraska Volleyball team honored with 2025 GPAC Volleyball All-Conference accolades, as announced by the league office on Monday (Nov. 17). Additionally, Emma Brueggemann was tabbed GPAC Freshman of the Year and Keck was joined on the league’s first team by teammates Ava Green and Ella Waters.

The GPAC also announced Angie Boldt as the conference's AVCA Assistant Coach of the Year. Head Coach Ben Boldt and his staff have guided the Bulldogs to a 24-3 overall record while positioning the program for a seventh straight trip to the national tournament. Angie Boldt was also recognized as the 2022 West Central Region Assistant Coach of the Year by the AVCA. Ben and Angie took the reins of the program beginning with the 2018 season. The overall record for the program since then is 178-54. Concordia shared the 2023 GPAC regular season title.

A senior from Kearney, Neb., Keck stands out as one of the elite players in program history. Keck has earned All-GPAC recognition all four years, claiming honorable mention status as a freshman, second team honors as a sophomore and first team selection as a junior and senior. In 2025, Keck has totaled 391 kills (4.12 per set), 402 digs (4.23 per set), 34 blocks and 25 aces in 27 matches (95 sets played). In her career, she has amassed 1,370 kills and 1,175 digs in 117 matches. Keck is one of five players in program history to eclipse both 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs. In addition to her two GPAC Attacker of the Year awards, Keck was named a 2024 NAIA First Team All-American and was chosen to the 2024 NAIA National Championships All-Tournament Team.

A junior from Papillion, Neb., Greene has been a defensive force at the net. The Papillion LaVista South High School alum has been a major reason why Concordia opponents are hitting only .112 this season. Greene leads the team with 117 blocks and ranks fourth among GPAC players with an average of 1.26 blocks per set. Offensively, Greene has added 138 kills while hitting .312. Her career tallies show 249 kills and 190 blocks in 54 matches.

Waters has now earned back-to-back First Team All-GPAC awards. The Hickman, Neb., native has sizzled down the stretch from the right side. She has racked up 241 kills (2.56 per set) and has hit .253 in 27 matches. Waters has also supplied 72 blocks and 68 digs defensively. In two seasons as a Bulldog, Waters has powered down 534 kills. Twice this season Waters has produced 18 kills in a match.

An immediate starter as a freshman, Brueggemann joins recent Bulldogs such as Keck (2022) and Camryn Opfer (2019) as GPAC Freshman of the Year award winners. A Hebron, Neb., native, Brueggemann has starred in the back row in helping limit the opposition to an average of just 10.80 kills per set. In 23 matches this season, Brueggemann has recorded 388 digs and ranks fourth among GPAC players with an average of 4.91 digs per set. Brueggemann has also posted 427 service receptions and 17 aces. She collected three GPAC Player of the Week awards this season.

Both Brueggemann and senior Molli Martin were named to the GPAC’s 2025 second team. A Lincoln Lutheran High School alum, Martin ranks No. 3 on the team with 160 kills (1.82 per set) this season. She also averages more than a block per set (1.06) for a strong defensive Concordia team. In 37 career varsity matches, Martin has produced 214 kills and 118 blocks. She is a two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

The team’s two honorable mention award winners are sophomore Shandy Fa’ali’i and senior Kya Scott. A Lincoln East High School alum, Fa’ali’i has become an integral player in the back row who can both defend/pass and attack. Her 275 digs are the third most on the team. Fa’ali’i has added 343 serve receptions, 32 kills and 27 aces. Meanwhile, Scott has totaled 134 kills (1.60 per set) in 2025. The Broken Bow, Neb., native has contributed 390 kills in her career and is a two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

The Bulldogs are expected to again host an NAIA National Championship Opening Round match. That match would take place inside Friedrich Arena on Saturday, Nov. 22. Official pairings are scheduled to be announced by the NAIA later today (Nov. 17).
